Venus – A planet and a Star
Venus is the third brightest object in the sky after the Sun and Moon

Venus rises in the East before the Sun. This is her Morning Star phase in the sky.
As Morning Star, Venus Luciferus rises as
Venus Aphrodite the Goddess of the People, of worldly concerns,
Venus Pandemos (common to all people)
Earthy, Earthly, closer to the earth, focused on self-love and beauty
In every complete cycle relative to the Sun,Venus transitions between its morning and evening star appearances, which ancient Babylonians worshiped as the Goddess Inanna in her dual nature as Goddess of War and Empowerment and Goddess of Love, Fertility and Healing.
Written astronomical evidence about Venus’ alternating appearances and disappearances dates from the 17th century BCE, around 4000 years ago. From this time period, the earliest literature was inscribed upon clay tablets. The Descent of Inanna is a story that some have interpreted as an allegorical representation of the cycle of the planet Venus.

Venus rises in West after the Sun has set as Evening Star
As evening star, Venus Hesperus emerges in the western twilit sky as the
Goddess of Self Love , Venus Urania
Celestial, further from the earth, spiritual, inner-focused

Which Venus are you?
Are you a Morning Star or an Evening Star?

Venus’ star cycle in the heavens, also creates a five pointed star

we know as the Venus Star

Venus Star Point is a term coined by Arielle Guttman in her pioneering work and book Venus Star Rising where she teaches about this phenomenon, how to find it and what it means to you, through her book and website.
Venus Star Point and her cycles over time that form a five-pointed star. These star points nearly always fall in the signs of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Scorpio, or Capricorn.
This point is closely linked to your sense of self-worth, values and desires, what you find beautiful, and how you attract love and show affection. Venus rules artistic endeavors, so this point can give insight into how you channel your artistic energy. And importantly, the Sun-Venus conjunction, will occur close to that same point every eight years, less two days, and therefore, losing a couple of degrees each time it repeats.
Venus Cycles offer depth of meaning and clarity to your life purpose and your contribution in this life.
