OCTOBER 19 PROMPT
Are you called to connect with Venus more deeply?
She isn’t just a mythological love goddess, she is the Divine Feminine herself. Is she calling you?
Venus Scorpio portal is opening October 3rd and for approximately 40 days she will cycle in the heavens from Evening Star to invisible and then rise as Morning Star.
You can embody this process by watching her in the sky as well as doing soul work to receive her transmission.
OCTOBER 3 PROMPT
Oct 3rd Retrograde in Scorpio
Today OCT 3rd, is the day to begin a personal practice journeying with Venus as she descends into the darkness of her retrograde cycle preparing to meet with the Sun at 00 degrees Scorpio on OCT 24 .
Do Moonwork
This is a time of “going inward” and setting intentions for the areas of life that Venus affects – creativity, relations and what we value. Releasing what no longer serves us at the Dark Moon OCT 10 but also on the New Moon a few days later, setting intentions for what we want to bring into our lives and what we want to transform in ourselves.
We are integrating the energies of the previous cycle that began in March 2025 and what we have been creating and experiencing.
Venus in retrograde causes bumps in these areas so its best to go inward and slow down at this time, becoming more contemplative, integrating and absorbing who and where we have been, fully feeling the Autumn energy and mirroring Venus’ path.
After Venus is said to be with the Sun “in the heart of the Sun,” on OCT 24, a very magical time of burning away the old and putting on a protective shield of armour forged by the light and heat of the Sun, she will rise a warrior goddess as Morning Star on OCT 29 and move forward on a new path when she is Direct NOV 14.
Venus is beginning her journey as Evening Star , Venus Vesper, Aphrodite Pandemos and when she rises, she will be the warrior Morning Star, Venus Lucifera, Aphrodite Urania.
Right now, Venus is in retrograde at 8 degrees Scorpio, and this is the last time for about 100 years as Venus is shifting to Libra. She will still be starting her retrograde cycle in Scorpio but will finish it in Libra. The Venus Scorpio Libra cycle brings the depth of Scorpio with the balance of Libra.
Venus makes a 5 pointed star in the sky as she goes through her retrograde cycle over an 8 year period. Each of these “points” occurs in a zodiac sign that correlates with your natal and transit astrology chart.
Venus affects our creativity, relationships, who and what we love, self-worth and what we value.
Journey with her for the next 40 days with practices that reflect her energy of withdrawing and then rising.
Meditation, contemplation, watching Venus in the sky, correlating Venus’ journey with that of the goddess Inanna who travelled to the Underworld, passing through 7 gates which can be activated by doing chakra meditations.
- Schedule a retreat
- Make time for self-care: facial care, massage, nourishing foods
- Beautify yourself and your surroundings, redecorate
- Create art,visit an art gallery or a local exhibition
- Review your finances and budgeting
- Review and renew your relationships. Reflect on your relationship patterns: How are you not being valued? Where do you not feel equal? Do you feel
you deserve more? - Consider more effective ways to feel valued at work, in your personal work
- Reflect on what needs to be re-introduced into your relationships with others
- Plan a holiday for only you and/or a significant other

For now, practice deep breathing and grounding, surrendering to the deep watery subterranean energy of Venus and season.

Build a Venus Altar
You can make an altar to the watery Venus Scorpio Goddess, personified as the Egyptian Selket, or Anatolian Hekate with snakes, shadows, torches, moon water (let spring water absorb moonlight outside under the moon), lavender, rosemary, mugwort.
Each time you visit the altar, ground and take a deep breath and say:
I honor the goddess within me, the energy of Venus
I become self-love, beauty and the divine feminine power in my life.
